Back when I was living in San Diego in the late-seventies, the folk scene was alive and well. One thing gaining steam at the time was fiddle music and a subset of that was what they called the Cape Breton style. Evidently, Cassie & Maggie MacDonald are playing in that style and making quite the name for themselves. I have been very impressed with everything I have heard from them.
